Flying Time

Originally posted January 16, 2013

You have heard it before but isn’t it true that time flies. We get so busy with living day to day that all our good intentions of accomplishing our goals gets pushed to the bottom of the list. Maybe I am alone in this, but I know it to be true for me.

I want to finish so many things with my writing, art, photography, sewing, and on and on and on. But we have to have clean clothes to wear, food fixed to eat, dishes washed, house to clean. When I get all that done, I will succeed as an author and artist.

This year, I have decided to change my thinking. I am rearranging my daily life to include the typical chores and the creative activities. I have to be super organized in order for it to work. If you have any suggestions on things that have worked for you, please pass those along.

Right now, we are preparing to make a trip to meet other creative people. I hope to return with some ideas from them on how to juggle all the must dos and want to dos.

It is still early in the year and this is my year! It is going to be filled with wonder and success. Hope your year is fantastic.

I have not only lived many chapters in one life, but many lives in one body. The person I am today is far wiser than the me of young adulthood. My life is like your life with its ebb and flow. We are all connected in some way. I am a wife, mother, and grandmother, but what makes me, well, me is the way I wife, mother, and grandmother. I am a liver transplant survivor. Whatever devastation you have survived, we survived in our individual ways. I create with words and photos. I am a writer and photographer.
